School is a great place to try new things-join clubs, auditions for the lead in the school play, try out for the track team and even get involved in student council. Being a member of student council allows u to take action, especially if u have a school complaint. Getting involved in student council can raise your voice and can make a difference. Joining student council is a fun way to get involved with your school and its a great way to make new friends and meet new peeps. Improving school issues will definitely get u noticed around. more importantly, if u have a school complaint, weather its about class sizes or teacher availability then you can help to bring about a change by taking a chance and standing up for student's rights. Basically involving in school elections gives us the opportunity to improve issues and make our school a better place. The interesting part is that people in student council gets the chance to conduct a variety of events and activities throughout the school year. Me standing for the elections to be the next president of the school want to change a few things in this school.
I am trying to get the school to change the time from 8.30-4.30 to 11.00-5.30, because we all work much better with more sleep. I am also thinking of there should be one outdoor school trips to go on. Well, that our canteen is full of junk food and it should be changed, because you have to have something healthy next to it, otherwise there will be health problems. I think, we should have a break time in the afternoon because everyone gets really restless in the afternoon at school and you can't concentrate. I would like it if we didn't have projects or homework during the holidays, you need to relax when you are away from the school.
Basically, these are my views and these are not just my words, these are the few things that i would like to change if i were to be the president of this school.
